CLMS Webinar: Protected Areas 2021 Launch
On the 22nd of September 2026 the Copernicus Land Monitoring Service (CLMS) will host the Protected Areas 2021 Launch webinar.
This product provides detailed land cover and land use mapping for all terrestrial Natura 2000 sites across Europe, and Emerald sites for the UK. This goes beyond the original N2K product, which only mapped grassland-rich sites, with the 2021 update introducing a semi-automatic workflow that delivers consistent, objective habitat monitoring at scale.
This Webinar will focus on the Protected Areas CLMS product and will provide:
An overview of the semi-automatic workflow and enhanced classification system
Insights into multi-temporal satellite analysis for habitat detection
A tutorial on how and where to access the data
Real-world applications for biodiversity monitoring and conservation planning
When
September 22nd, from 14:00 to 15:30
Time Zone: Copenhagen, Denmark
The event is open to anyone interested in these specific land cover topics but will be catering to those considering working with the data.
