Join us for an Introduction to Urban Atlas

This webinar by the Copernicus Land Monitoring Service (CLMS) will provide an introduction for Urban Atlas. The product provides detailed land cover, land use, and building height information for Functional Urban Areas across Europe, with significant applications for sustainable urban development, climate adaptation, and environmental justice.

It will spotlight the newest updates, with a focus on public vs. private green space classification and building block height layers. This advancement addresses environmental equity and supports EU Green Deal objectives.

The webinar provides:

  • An overview of Urban Atlas

  • Introduction to the layers

  • A tutorial on how and where to access the data

  • Real-world applications from European cities

The event is open to all with an interest in urban land monitoring and is particularly recommended for urban planners, environmental analysts, and those planning to work with the data.
